Marshmallow Mischief was born out of a love for traveling to far away places and a desire to create real heartfelt treats for friends and loved ones. Armed with a mixing bowl, a vivid imagination and worldly inspiration, founder Sarah Figueroa Berchild has recreated a childhood memory and given it a sophisticated, whimsical twist.
When Sarah isn’t traveling the far reaches of the globe, winning awards for excellence in design or achieving patents for inventions, she can be found in her kitchen mixing little batches of magic. But it was in December of 2009 that her creativity gave way to visions of marshmallow treats and the first little risqué crunchie cha cha cha’ed onto the scene.
What emerged was a reason to celebrate! Sarah was able to take global flavors and not only make them with seasonal, fresh, and regional ingredients; she also found a way to make them comforting. She mixed up her bite-sized indulgences with both nostalgia and exotic flavors!
